Celebrating the Children’s and Teenager’s literature day at the Geopark Educational Center in the west of Qeshm Island
The director of Qeshm Island UNESCO Global Geopark announced the commemoration of the Children’s and Teenager’s literature day at the Geopark Educational Center in the west of Qeshm Island.
According to the public relations and international affairs of the Qeshm Free Zone Area, Sajjad Eshgarf announced this news and said this special program aimed to familiarize the island's children with the works of Mehdi Azar Yazdi, a good writer and copywriter of Iran, was held in the library of the Geopark Educational Center in the west Qeshm Island.
He continued that, in this program, the children participated in oral reading and painting of a story from Mehdi Azar Yazdi's book.
Referring to July 9, named the official literature day of Children and Teenagers literature day in Iran, the director of the Qeshm Global Geopark added that the death of Mehdi Azar Yazdi coincides with this day. Mehdi Azar Yazdi is the most famous author of children's and teenager’s literature in Iran, and among his work, we can mention the Good Stories for Good Children, The New Stories from Old Books, etc.
