روستای گردشگری سهیلی در جزیره قشم شاهد اجرای طرح نوآورانه‌ای با عنوان "سفره سبز سهیلی" است که حاصل همکاری مشترک شورای اسلامی روستا و مدیریت ژئوپارک جهانی قشم می‌باشد. این طرح که با هدف مقابله با معضل پسماند و توسعه گردشگری پایدار طراحی شده، در حال تبدیل شدن به الگویی موفق برای دیگر روستاهای جزیره قشم است. در چارچوب این ابتکار، تاسیسات گردشگری همیاران ژئوپارک در زمینه کاهش مصرف پلاستیک، مدیریت پسماند و تفکیک زباله خشک از مبدا فعالیت می‌کنند.
Recognizing the importance of joint cooperation in achieving sustainable development goals and improving the livelihoods of the local community, the Qeshm Island UNESCO Global Geopark and the local council of Soheili village have reached an agreement on the following: The purpose of this Memorandum of Understanding is to enhance bilateral cooperation in the following areas: • Achieving sustainable development goals • Enhancement of geotourism activities. • Conserving the environment and natural resources
