The director of Qeshm Island UNESCO Global Geopark announced the holding of a trading workshop titled “Keshm and Persian Gulf Businees Relations” on the occasion of the Persian Gulf National Day.
The director of the Qeshm Island UNESCO Global Geopark announced the holding of a consultative meeting of the members of the Qeshm Island UNESCO Global Geopark to familiarize the members with the principles, requirements, and frameworks of cooperation and also to introduce the advantages of being a member of this network.
The deputy official of the Qeshm Tourism Services announced the holding of a training workshop on the laws and regulations of tourism tours and familiarization with the rules of civil responsibility towards tourists by the Qeshm Global Geopark management.
Introductory workshop on geopark concept and its goals was held in Qeshm Island (27-29 Sep. 2021) The workshop was held with the aim of familiarizing geopark partners with the concepts of geopark, its programs and goals with the presence of 50 geopark partners.
In the lecture the history of Qeshm Island and its naming was discussed. For the issue, various travelogues about Qeshm Island (Sadid al-Saltana travelogue and the Gazetteer of Persian Gulf of John Gordon Lorimer) were surveyed.
This specialized workshop aimed to integrate the two groups of Local and Geopark tourism guides, under the same title and with identical ID cards.
