The Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Qeshm Free Zone Organization stated that the Persian Gulf is distinguished by the rich artistic and cultural traditions of the people of Qeshm Island, particularly its women, and by their deep-rooted cultural identity.

The tourism village of Soheili on Qeshm Island is implementing an innovative initiative entitled “Sofreh-ye Sabz-e Soheili” (“Soheili Green Table”), developed through a partnership between the Islamic Village Council and Qeshm Island UNESCO Global Geopark Management.
Recognizing the importance of joint cooperation in achieving sustainable development goals and improving the livelihoods of the local community, the Qeshm Island UNESCO Global Geopark and the local council of Soheili village have reached an agreement on the following: The purpose of this Memorandum of Understanding is to enhance bilateral cooperation in the following areas: • Achieving sustainable development goals • Enhancement of geotourism activities. • Conserving the environment and natural resources
A memorial ceremony honouring Fatemeh Dezhgani, the renowned Hormozgan author and researcher known as the “Mother of Qeshm Island's Cultural Narratives,” was held at the Conference Hall of Qeshm Island UNESCO Global Geopark Museum. The ceremony brought together people with an interest in the culture and arts of Qeshm Island to commemorate Dezhgani's remarkable contribution to documenting, preserving and passing on the island's cultural heritage and oral traditions.
