Soheili

This geosite is located south of Soheili village and is in the central part of the Salakh anticline. This area is located on the deposits of the Agha Jari Formation, which includes marl, limestone and sandstone layers. The fossils that can be seen in this area are highly diverse. The presence of many faults indicates that this area is tectonically active.
