Unesco Global Geopark
Mangrove forest is subtropical vegetation which is concerned as one the richest ecosystems of the whole planet. According to ecological and financial importance of mangrove, Geopark global organization suggested for Qeshm Geopark to have the mangrove forest in the list of their geosites in orderto preserve the area. With the planning managed forthe Geopark symposium, Mr. Ph.D. OwfI is selected as the scientific secretary of the conference. The first day is planned for scientific lectures and the second day is for visiting Geosites. Managing the environment of mangrove in orderto preserve it and cooperating with local societies is a part of planned programs.
