From 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., the tranquillity of the valley will be illuminated by the moonlight and accompanied by the sound of camera shutters, as the landscape and the night sky come together to witness this remarkable celestial event. Equipped with professional photographic gear and fully committed to environmental responsibility, participants are documenting every subtle change in colour and every phase of the eclipse.
The event is organised under the direction of Ahmad Bazmandegan, Head of the Persian Gulf Photographers Association of Qeshm Island, in collaboration with Hormozgan Photographers Association, Qeshm Island UNESCO Global Geopark, and Qeshm Free Zone General Directorate of Culture and Islamic Guidance. Ahmad Bazmandegan is one of Qeshm's distinguished cultural and artistic figures and has led the Persian Gulf Photographers Association of Qeshm Island for more than two decades. Established under Qeshm Free Zone General Directorate of Culture and Islamic Guidance, the Association has 186 members and trainees, including 20 active members.
