Braille Interpretation for the Hara Biosphere Reserve and Hara Forest Geosite in Soheili Tourism Village

An accessible tourism initiative for blind, visually impaired, deaf and hard-of-hearing visitors was officially launched at the Hara Biosphere Reserve and Hara Forest Geosite during a ceremony held at the Museum of Ethnography in Soheili Village. Representatives of the Tourism and Environment departments, the Welfare Organization, the District Governor of Hara, and owners of accommodation establishments and restaurants from the village attended the event.

The initiative has been implemented to provide appropriate facilities and services for visitors with visual and hearing impairments. As part of the programme, Braille interpretive panels introducing the Hara Biosphere Reserve and Hara Forest Geosite were unveiled, enhancing accessibility and enabling a wider range of visitors to experience the area's natural attractions.
