The director of Qeshm Island UGGp announced the experiences and potentials of Qeshm Island UGGp as a guide to Khon Kaen Geopark in Thailand to join the global geoparks network.

The director of Qeshm Island UGGp announced the experiences and potentials of Qeshm Island UGGp as a guide to Khon Kaen Geopark in Thailand to join the global geoparks network. 

According to the public relations and international affairs of the Qeshm Free Zone Area, Sajad Eshgarf stated that Alireza Amri Kazemi, the consultant of Qeshm Island UGGp and member of UGGp Network Strategic Council in the seminar on the analysis of geological importance and development of geosites using a macro approach in Kalasin and Khon Kaen geoparks and five regions interested in registering geoparks in Thailand as one of the main speakers, he expressed the experiences of Qeshm Island UGGp.

He stated that using Qeshm Island UGGp's experiences and potential as a guide can help connect the mentioned geoparks in Thailand to the UGGp network. 

The director of Qeshm Island UGGp noted that Qeshm Island UGGp was welcomed by the organizers of this seminar due to its history, geological attractions, and also successful experiences, especially in participation and the companionship of the local community.
