Qeshm Global Geopark Director announced the success of Amin Ebrahimi, photographer and co-author of Qeshm's Global Geopark at the "Miras-e-Niyakan" Photographic Festival.

According to Public Relations and International Affairs of Qeshm Free Zone Organization,Alireza AmriKazemi stated: Amin Ebrahimi, from the village of Dakko, Qeshm Island, participated in the festival by photographing the geosite valley of stars. And he was able to identify the human and natural abilities of the island to the southern provinces of the country with his beautiful picture.

According to him, the purpose of the festival, which was dedicated to the provinces of Fars, Bushehr and Hormozgan, was to recognize, introduce and preserve the historical works of the southern provinces of the country and the need for people to pay attention to the protection of these memorabands.

Director of Geopark Qeshm continued: "Miras-e-Niyakan" Photographic Festival was held in August of this year in the following sections: General with the theme of the photo of the monuments of three province: Fars and Hormozgan and Bushehr, professional section with photos of wooden doors and its accessories (door, lock and key, handle, stud , Clay, hinges, etc.) and a special section with photo content of the pond and its components (ponds, corridors, waterways, inscriptions of the pond ... and also "pond photo collections", including the stages of construction or restoration or Dewatering the pond ...).

It is worth mentioning that 132 photographers have 743 photographs, including 162 photographs of historical monuments, 344 photographs of the door and its accessories, and 190 photographs of the pond and 47 unrelated pictures of the countries of Iran, the United Arab Emirates and Qatar.
