Kooh Kalengi

This geosite recently added to the list of the Qeshm Global Geopark is located near the Dayrestan village located in the center of the island. Mount Kalengi consists of fossil dunes, very important from a geological and a paleontological point of view. There are a large number and volume of bivalve fossils in this area, which is unique and astonishes each spectator.
