Qeshm Island UNESCO Global Geopark Museum Places Third in National Museum Awards

On International Museum Day, Qeshm Island UNESCO Global Geopark Museum was awarded third place among the country's large museums in the 17th National Museum Awards of Iran, in the category recognising accessibility for people with disabilities and disabled veterans.

According to Qeshm Free Zone Media Centre, the achievement was announced during the official awards ceremony attended by cultural authorities and museum directors. A Certificate of Recognition was presented by Iran’s National Committee of Museums (ICOM Iran) to the museum specialist from Qeshm Island UNESCO Global Geopark in acknowledgement of this achievement.
